Learning the set life

On my first shooting day I learned that in this type of work something can and possibly will always go wrong.

In our case, a catering tent almost flew away because of the wind as we tried to put it up. One of the supporting spikes got twisted but we managed to fix it temporarily.

As someone coming to the industry with little former knowledge about filmmaking, I found it cool to be accepted as a crew member just as everyone else. I only attended one of the three filming days but managed to learn a lot in that time anyway.

I’ve now been working in BBG for one month as a Production Intern and I’m excited to be here. It is a great opportunity to work as an apprentice, as I can learn more about the media realm, which is one of my main subjects of interest once I have finished my studies.
