Happy Thursday!
Easter is just around the corner, but before we head towards the holidays, we want to share some good news with you! Three awesome new members have joined our Gang: Juha Ala-Korpula, Milla Möltsi, and Mindele Vihko. We are so happy to have such wonderful and skilled people join our Gang and today, we want to introduce them all to you, so here we go!
Let’s start with our Catering Manager, Juha.

“Hi, I’m Juha. I work as a Catering Manager for Blockbusters Gang.
I have long experience in the restaurant industry. Before joining BBG, I was a Head Chef in a big culture factory. In this job, I can combine my love for food, movies, and TV series.
I’m very efficient, reliable, customer-oriented, and a good team player.
I also have experience on the other side of the camera, and I have been acting in commercials for some years.
I’m really happy to be part of BBG.”
Juha’s experience as a chef ensures that he is able to plan the daily menus to meet the crew’s needs during long shoot days, and Juha’s customer-oriented mindset and well-organized catering tables will ensure the crew can work with good spirits. We are thrilled to have Juha as a part of the Gang – welcome Juha!
Next up is Milla, our Catering and Event professional.

“Hi everyone! My name is Milla, and I work as an Event and Catering Staff.
The past year I have been working in the film industry, and before that, I have been working as an Event Producer. A year ago, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Cultural and Arts management.
I’m highly motivated, reliable, and efficient. I’m a quick learner and ready to try new things.”
Milla’s background in event production has proven to be very helpful, and she quickly picked up the common film shoot practices. Milla’s positive mindset and productivity make her an excellent addition to any kind of film crew. Awesome that Milla joined the Gang – welcome, Milla!
Last but not least, we have Mindele, our Props Master.

“Hi! I’m a Props Master with approximately ten years of experience in film and TV. For the past couple of years, I have had the privilege of working at the national broadcasting company Yle while enjoying all the good things that come with being a member of Blockbusters Gang. I’m hoping to be able to continue like this for a long time! At the moment, I’m involved in a big development project that will keep me busy for a while.
My special interests are set design and props in period dramas. I love old everyday items and furniture in general. In my Masters studies at Aalto University, I have specialized in lived environments and the history of city apartments both in Helsinki and South East Asia.
Being a member of the Blockbusters Gang is something I’m very proud of. It makes me happy to find people who share my values and work on making the Finnish film industry a better place to work in.”
Mindele has almost ten years of experience working in props department film and tv productions, both drama and documentary. She makes a great addition to the Gang – welcome, Mindele!
