Let us introduce you to Olli – one of our strong Assistant Directors ready to rock your production.

What’s special with Olli is his humble yet sharp attitude towards filmmaking – he truly understands different scales of productions and continuously evolves his skills in all positions he works in. Though Olli’s skillset is suitable for many job titles he has mainly focused on 2nd AD’ing and shifted into his first fiction production as the 1st AD last year. This advancement has been rather smooth as he was already familiar with many aspects of this work.

With Olli’s experience from locations, logistics, crowd casting and management he is a great asset for everyone in the production making sure information flows from one department to another. He has seen both larger scale productions with international companies and local projects with lightweight teams. He’s been widely liked as a team mate – it’s not rare to have productions requesting for Olli above anyone else.

Olli’s background is in locations department and he still scouts every now and then when having free slots in his calendar. He also visits film schools regularly to teach about his work. So far he’s been teaching in Metropolia University and Omnia Film Skills education besides our own BBG AD Bootcamp.
