Crowd AD / Talent Coordinator
Sini is a former Make Up Artist and Hairdresser who’s shifted into assistant directing and casting in 2022.
Sini’s speciality is open, hands-on attitude with exceptionally good social skills. She’s in her element with cast, extras, elderly, kids – anyone who needs a little extra care and love (may we say most of filmmakers in the middle of any production!). Sini works efficiently and is always willing to learn more. She’s not afraid to adjust and speaks multiple Nordic languages, which has been a great asset on her former positions.
For past year Sini has worked as a Talent Coordinator for Finnish National Broadcaster YLE. Her job includes getting familiar with new talents daily, making sure the preparations with them run smoothly and they’ll make it to the live-broadcastings in time. It requires not just being a people’s person but also good understanding of the process behind the scenes. In the future Sini is interested to dive deeper into multi-camera productions, eg. on entertainment genre.
Besides her work with YLE Sini has been able to develop her skills further on both casting and on-set crowd management. When her schedule allows she’s hoping to gain even more more experience as the Extras Casting Director or Crowd AD. She’s also open to hop in to assist on make up and hair – if ever needed!
