Say hello to Mare – one of the newest additions to our gang!
Mare has just finished their degree in Arts, Entertainment & Media Management and moved to working in the field full time. During their studies Mare has learned the essentials of media productions yet specialising in fiction producing. On school projects Mare has often also acted as the Director. To add on that our BBG AD Bootcamp courses have given them a deeper look into creating call sheets and managing and casting background actors.
Besides their studies Mare has gained experience multiple short films and two TV series as a trainee in assistant directors and production departments. On their first internship they focused on assisting on background actors casting and coordinating actors between set and unit base. Their latest short film works include two MA short films from ELO Film School in which they completed their first productions as the 2nd Assistant Director.
Mare is interested in all work that takes them towards an established career in film. They are extremely motivated and willing to break into the industry – positively looking into what new experiences future brings them. In the future they’re also interested to explore opportunities in international projects. For now we see Mare as a great candidate into any assisting work in production and AD departments especially in local productions – but to be honest, she’s a great addition to any team looking for some extra help!
