Sharp, focused, hands-on – all these words fit perfectly to Roxana.

Having studied international law and communications Roxana ended up in the film industry some years ago through joining Academy of Moving People and Images’ 1-year program of filmmaking.

Roxana is very versatile and open minded on her work. In short films and independent productions she’s taken over multiple departments from line producing to sound and art. In larger scale productions she’s so far been more involved in assisting in production and assistant directing departments. For the future Roxana is very keen on evolving her skills on these areas besides simply getting more and more experience. She’s not saying no to assisting on technical crews either, having worked as an Assistant Camera and DOP on student productions.

We see Roxana as a fantastic addition to teams looking for a solution-oriented worker with a great work ethic. She’s not looking down to any duties or team members and always seems to create allies around the crew. As her next tasks Roxana could eg. help on daily documents, take over the walkies management, coordinate cast or crowds on set or help out on logistics. She’s got that fantastic Production Coordinator attitude, in which things are already taken care of when you’re still wondering how to proceed further.

When not with us Roxana is creating her own projects with her film collective FILM TONIGHT!. She was selected to EFM Fiction Toolbox Programme in 2024 with her horror feature in development. You can also find her jumping on stage as a stand-up comedian.
